ProFX8v2 8-Channel Sound Reinforcement Mixer with Built-In FX is rated 4.3 out of 5 by 10.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Mackie Audio Mixer The Mackie ProFX2 8-Channel Sound Reinforcement Mixer with Built-In FX is magical. I purchased a similar audio mixer by Mackie 10 years ago and it recently gave out. I teach broadcast communication in a middle school and my students(8th graders) and I produce a daily news broadcast which is received in every classroom in our school. The audio is always critical and the above mixer is easy to use and works flawlessly with our Tricaster. As you know funds are always a problem in the public schools and the mixer at $ fit our budget perfectly. There are endless possibilities with this mixer and we have endless fun using the fx.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Do not buy. I purchased the ProFX8v2 8 Channel Mixer and was pleased at first, but within 30 days of moderate use, 3 channels went died. No mic audio would pass through and a very loud buzz and hum could be heard suddenly when nothing had changed from previous uses and one singular set up for recording. So I sent it back to B&H who sent another one. After 2 days with the second mixer channel 2 went bad. After looking it up online to see if it was my set up or something I found that there are multiple problems with this mixer and other people who have had the same issue.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Mackie ProFX8v2 First one I rec had noisy main l and r outputs. B and H replaced it but second still has some white noise in main outs with fx on. Will try to find work around. Don't want to go for 3.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great mixer, very good quality for the money. My use is limited, use it for recording songs for personal use and also shows at club house. The mixer replaced a similar unit I was using. The FroFX blows away the unit I was using, the sound quality is fantastic, I didn't realize what I was losing with my other mixer. The USB is a great addition, I can not go directly into my computer and save my music as well as pass my music coming from my computer through the mixer to my sound bar. It was easy to set up and use.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from FX work great This is my first mixer. Does everything as advertised. USB throughput option is great for recording audio off the same device that's recording the mixer. As in, for podcasts, I can record sounds from youtube off the same device that's recording the mixer from usb.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Solid Little Mixer A small mixer that packs lots of functions at a low price. It feels solidly built. I wish the power cord was longer than 5 feet but it's a standard cord and can be replaced. Has USB and Effects should you need.
