Phoenix Audio MT454-DTI Overview

The MT454-DTI Octopus from Phoenix Audio is an audio conferencing mixer with a USB and digital telephone interface and has four XLR microphone inputs. It can be used as a telephone solution in applications for conference rooms, classrooms, training rooms, courtrooms, depositions, and more.

The mic inputs featured on the MT454-DTI Octopus can be designated as a unique auxiliary or sound reinforcement channel; in addition, it can also provide unlimited daisy chain capabilities for multiple connectivity options. Mounted microphones and speakers, placed anywhere in the room (ceiling, walls, and table tops) can provide a professional sound with a sleek look.

The Octopus comes standard with USB and RCA connectors for VoIP and Video Codec connectivity. The Octopus MT454-DTI connects you to any computer as well as to any digital phone. Each unit includes a USB cable, an international power supply adapter, two rack-mount ears, a male Phoenix speaker output connector, and a RJ11 telephone cable.

USB to Your Computer
This digital output connection is for any session using your computer such as Voice Over IP applications (Skype, Vidyo, etc)

Telephone
This connection is done via a RJ11 cable and connects directly to your telephone's headset jack
Beamforming Technology
The Octopus will assess the signals picked up by all the microphones, and decide, instantaneously, which one(s) will take part in the mixing and with what level of emphasis
Bridging
Bridging allows for 3-way communication between multiple connection sources, such as telephone, VoIP and Video Codec
