This version of the E310 Tuned Propulsion System from DJI features 4 Motors/ESCs sets (2 CW and 2 CCW) along with 4 prop pairs. Providing 1.8 lb thrust per rotor and able to support takeoff weights of up to 14.1 oz per motor, the system is optimal for multi-rotor UAVs in the 2.2 to 5.5 lb weight range. In addition to the propulsion system, it also included is a set of LED navigation lights to enhance orientation recognition at long distances (one LED per motor). These multi-color LEDs can also serve as effective status indicators.
With this version of the Tuned Propulsion System active breaking can be enabled. Compared with traditional systems, braking makes it easier to perform maneuvers. This includes sharp turns, altitude changes, and sudden braking.
