The Devin Graham Stabilizer and Smooth Shooter Support System is a bundle from Glidecam designed to provide smooth, floating camera movements when shooting with cameras weighing between 2 and 12 pounds. The bundle pairs the Devin Graham Signature Series Hand-Held Stabilizer with the Smooth Shooter vest and arm support system. The system makes it easy to move throughout the scene to capture smooth shots, while letting you shoot for extended periods of time.
The Devin Graham Signature Series Hand-Held Stabilizer combines features a precision camera balance platform that incorporates a quick-release, sliding dovetail plate for fast attachment and removal of your camera. Fine-tuning control knobs on the platform enable precision front-to-back and side-to-side adjustments for horizontal balancing. Further aiding balancing is a 1" diameter telescopic center post with laser engraved guide markings and a position-adjustable gimbal for quick vertical balancing. The dynamic base platform supports included counterweights and can manually expand or contract, allowing you to adjust the system dynamic balance and rotational pan inertia of the system.
The Smooth Shooter system incorporates a vest and support arm to allow you to walk, run, go up and down stairs, or shoot from moving vehicles while capturing smooth-looking footage. The system works by isolating your body's motion from your camera, while your camera is balanced in a relatively motionless and isolated state. The support arm can be boomed up and down, as well as pivoted in and out, and side-to-side. It is the combined booming and pivoting action of the support arm that isolates your motions from the camera in a way that creates smooth camera footage. The X-10 features a dual-section arm that can both move vertically and features a trim-able arm-to-vest connector.

The Glidecam Smooth Shooter is a body-mounted camera-stabilization system that lets you walk, run, climb stairs, and much more with loads up to 18 lb. It's designed to work with the optional Glidecam HD series, XR series, and Devin Graham stabilizers. These include the original XR-2000, XR-4000, HD-2000, and HD-4000 models. Attach the stabilizer to the arm and steadily move the arm up, down, in, out, and side to side as you move about. All the weight of the load is distributed evenly across your body. The support arm can be set up and configured so either a left-handed or right-handed operator can use the system. The arm can be operated in single-spring mode, which supports up to 9 lb max, and dual-spring mode, which supports 18 lb.
