This G-DOCK ev Thunderbolt Enclosure from G-Technology is part of the Evolution Series family of products and comes equipped with two hot-swappable drive bays for use with separately-sold Evolution Series drives. The G-DOCK ev also comes equipped with dual Thunderbolt ports that feature bi-directional transfer speeds of up to 10 Gb/s, which also allow for the easy daisy-chaining of additional Thunderbolt devices. Pop in any combination of G-DRIVE ev hard drives for user configurable RAID or JBOD setups to quickly transfer, edit, and store digital content.
The G-DOCK ev Thunderbolt Enclosure is constructed from aluminum and uses "smart fan" technology to help keep its components cool while in use. It is compatible with Windows and Mac operating systems and includes a Thunderbolt cable and a power adapter. It is protected by a built-in Kensington security slot and a limited 3-year warranty.
