Sonnet Three-Slot PCIe Card Expansion Module for xMac Pro Server and Echo Express III-R

Add an additional three PCIe slots to your xMac Pro Server or Echo Express III-R with the Three-Slot PCIe Card Expansion Module from Sonnet. The module is installed inside your Sonnet's xMac Pro or Echo Express III-R expansion system and connects to your Mac Pro computer via a Thunderbolt 2 connection, which offers daisy-chaining capabilities and bandwidths of up to 20 Gb/s. Once installed, the expansion module lets your system utilize up to three low-profile PCIe cards, such as networking cards, host bus adapters, storage interface cards, and some pro-video I/O cards. Its three PCIe slots are compatible with PCIe 3.0, 2.0, and 1.1 interfaces. For cooling internal components, a temperature-controlled fan is on board. Aside from cooling, Sonnet has equipped the module with an energy-saving, universal 300W power supply that automatically powers off when the computer shuts down or sleeps. Included along with the expansion module are a Thunderbolt cable and lock to help create a secure connection with your Mac system.
