The Tempo USB/Serial ATA Combo Adapter from Sonnet adds two 6 Gb/s eSATA ports and two SuperSpeed USB 3.0 ports to your computer, enabling you to maximize your external storage systems. When plugged into your computer's ExpressCard slot, the adapter's eSATA ports and USB 3.0 ports can transfer files at up to 200MB per second. The adapter also supports one bus-powered drive with power from a USB 2.0 port and older multi-drive enclosures with port multipliers, allowing you to access up to five drives per eSATA cable. The card can also be combined with Sonnet's Echo ExpressCard Pro Thunderbolt Adapter for use with an iMac, Mac mini, new Mac Pro, MacBook Pro, and MacBook Air computers with Thunderbolt ports. When connected through a Thunderbolt port, the SATA and USB 3.0 transfer rate can be up to 400MB per second.
