Along with Zoom Q8, I bought an additional BT-03 battery and I found this quite useful when you have a long recording. I wish Zoom spend some creative quality time and check how customers use this add on battery, what difficulties that they face in handling BT-03 in additional to what comes with the Zoom Q8. I strongly feel that they should incorporate these issues listed below; 1. Every battery of this kind should come with a plastic protection box for easy transportation (like most of the SD cards comes with a small plastic protection. 2. There's no battery charger so far in the market, though I strongly feel that Zoom should include a battery charger along with purchase of Q8. it's painful to charge the battery. 3. Most important: every time you change the battery, you loose the date/time settings on Q8 (though it's a Q8 issue), but consumers should know that when you change the battery, Q8 loses date/time information. Otherwise it's a good product

How long does it take to charge the battery?
I would say the first time would be up to 4 hours, but after that, no longer than an hour and even less if it is not drained all the way.
