Chief mounts were recommended by an AV installer and I can see why. Very solidly made, easy to install and provides confidence that they will hold my TV.

Used this mount for a simple 40 Samsung. Excellent quality and hardware selection. Easy to assemble and center on the wall.

You May Need Additional Hardware

I bought this mount for an LG 32LM6200 display. While Chief's website claims this mount works with the LG 32LM6200, the reality is that you need additional hardware to make it work. The mount includes several different screws for securing the bracket to the display. None of the included screws are long enough to both secure the bracket and have the bracket be completely hidden by the display. Once you buy screws that are long enough, you will discover that you have to stack the included spacers to create the necessary depth. This is not that big of a deal, but it would have been ideal to only use a single spacer. The supplied wall anchors are not long enough for the screws that are included. If you need to use anchors, keep this in mind.

question

Is there a template for mounting
Asked by: Anonymous
NO! Completely unnecessary! Figure the center of where you want the tv, left, right and up,down and mark it with a pencil. Before removing uprights spread them out to max and that is the most they can be mounted apart from each other on the wall. I would subtract an inch to avoid problems. Ideally you want to mount them 22-26 inches apart at the same height. It is all dictated by where your studs are located. Just dont mount to close together, less than 16 inches apart you best keep it centered all the time. Remove the uprights from the crossbars. You can use the same upright to mark both sets of holes. Your template. Use hardware capable of bearing the load(250lbs). If they are mounted at different heights as long as not to much. Half inch or so. There are screws at the top of each to level the bars perfectly. This is probably the BEST TV stand for sale anywhere! GOOD LUCK!!!
