FreeWave Fusion Basic Wireless Flash Trigger System for Sony Cameras with (MIS) Multi Interface Shoe is rated 3.9 out of 5 by 22.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from It works! I bought this so that I could have a way to get my flash off camera to improve my photos. It works as advertised. It is a basic trigger system with no frills. I bought this to use with my Sony A7. It is the only system I could find that worked without some type of adapter with my Sony F43M flash. Does not transmit TTL, flash must be used in manual mode. Definitely improves the pictures. Note: the receiver is a very tight fit to the flash. I originally thought it was wrong and that I needed an adapter, but I contacted the company and they confirmed. I just pushed a little harder and it slid in. After the first time it was smoother. Cable is only needed if you are not using the transmitter in the hot shoe.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from I would not purchase this product again Purchased to fire manual studio strobe with using an Sony A7Rii. Fires the strobe but not in sync. Strobe fires first and then the shutter opens. Lost 2 hours trying to get it resolved and moved on. I called FreeWave customer service at 2:40 PM EST as the website says they are open until 6:00 PM. Got a recording saying they were closed... just left a voice message and completed their customer service form online. Hope I and surprised and I get a speedy resolution. No camera specific setup instructions on their website or in the box. I have spent over 50K with B&H and this is my first bad review.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works great! This very well priced item works awesome with my Sony a6000. I am able to use my Sony 43-m flash with no problems. Super simple to set up, and instructions are displayed in the manual. I didn't give it 5 stars, due to the limit of 1/200 sec on the camera.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Remote control for flash unit or for camera It does exactly what it claims to do. It will wirelessly trigger a remote flash unit or it will allow you to wirelessly activate the camera's shutter release, either with a half-press or a full press. However, be aware that it does not use any of the electrical connections in the Sony Multi-Interface shoe. It only uses the simple hot shoe connections to trigger the transmitter. The receiver has no connection to a camera shoe and relies on a separate cable from the receiver to the camera's MIS jack.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice, but not perfect. I use this with a Sony A7 and a Nissin i40 flash. It is easy to use and works well. The battery cover feels a bit flimsy, but I have had no problems with it so far.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Does the job Finally an affordable flash trigger for the sony system. My flashes are manual so this fits as I don't need TTL.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Does the job It's very simple and worked the first time. I'm sure there are fancier things out there, but this lets me work with different channels, and has control for both flash and camera. Great for the price. The only issue I have had is that I have to reseat it from time to time. It would stop working, but loosening it and then reseating and tightening it got it back working. That only happened a couple of times. Definitely worth it, especially if you are just starting out and want a simple way to trigger off-camera flash.
