The Marimbaphone from the Vienna Symphonic Library provides additional articulations and samples for the Vienna Marimbaphone Standard Library (required). The instrument is similar to the xylophone, but utilizes softer and thinner wooden bars with a larger 5-octave range. Played with various mallets, handles, fingers, and string bows, the instrument has become a standard in contemporary music.
