question

Will this bag fit the flight cabin? Or is it too big? The only reason for buying it is so I can have it onboard a flight for short and long distance travel!
Asked by: Michael B.
The dimension of this bag are 25.0 x 16.5 x 10.5 inches, larger than the Pelican 1510 Carry-On Case which is 22 x 13.81 x 9.0 inches and designed to be carried on to a flight. Please check with the airline you plan on flying with to see if the Porta Brace will be accepted as a carry-on item.

question

I saw this bag on the Porta Brace site, but there are no internal pictures. How does the FS7 fit inside? Can the handle, extension arm, and EVF still be attached. We bought Manfrotto backpacks for our FS7 and the bags aren't deep enough. The camera doesn't fit.
Asked by: Anonymous
I was unable to come up with images as well. However, this is what PortaBrace has to say about the RIG-FS7BKX: (It is) designed to protect and transport a fully assembled FS7 rig in Shoot Ready position. They go on to say, Interior dividers allow you to customize the central compartment to suit your gear needs. Interior: 25 x 16.5 x 10.5 / 63.50 x 41.91 x 26.67 cm.Additional information: http://bit.ly/1c86aYJ

question

How would a Sony FS5 do in this bag?
Asked by: Jorge S.
I would say that the FS5 would easily fit, even assembled. While the bag might be a little big, I find having a bag a little too big is better than a little too small.
