The 2A130G VGA EDID Emulator from Aten is designed to emulate and store a default EDID (Extended Display Identification Information) setting in a non-volatile memory, enabling your computer/video source to detect an absent display. The VGA EDID Emulator is designed be used with most of Aten's KVM extender or video extender installations that do not utilize a local monitor at the location of your computer/video source. There is an HDB-15 male type connector at one end of the cord, and a USB type A male connector at the other end. The HDB-15 connector contains an LED light on the top to easily indicate the cord's power level.
