The KE6900 DVI KVM Over IP Extender from ATEN is an IP based extender that allows access to a computer system from a remote USB console over an intranet. This extender consists of a transmitter unit which connects to the computer and a receiver unit which provides console access from a separate location over a standard TCP/IP network via a Cat 5e cable. The receiver allows for point-to-point, point-to-multipoint, and multipoint-to-multipoint administration. As a matrix extender the system can connect single or multiple computers to consoles in several ways including one-to-one (extender mode), one-to-many (splitter mode), many-to-one (switch mode), or many-to-many (matrix mode). The Matrix Manager software allows you to password protect your devices and administer them over a network using the web-based GUI.
