Wildgame Innovations combines a magnified monocular with a 905nm IR laser and specialized circuitry to create their 8x22 Halo Xtanium 600 Laser Rangefinder. The rangefinder has a maximum metering range of 600 yards with an accuracy of ±1 yard, and the ability to take a single spot reading to a stationary target or continuously scan moving subjects. A built-in inclinometer measures the angle from the user to the subject; then running it and the distance through a proprietary algorithm shows an adjusted angle on the in-view OLED display for greater shot accuracy.
Complementing the rangefinding capabilities, is a versatile 8x22 monocular that can be used for spotting or tracking without using the rangefinder. The Xtanium's lightweight aluminum alloy housing is ergonomically designed to fit comfortably in the hand, and it is wrapped in a slip-resistant rubber armoring for a sure grip. Designed for a life of outdoor use, the housing is also water resistant for when the weather turns. The device runs on an included CR2 battery and comes with a neoprene carrying case.
