Each of the 3" wheels feature independent wheel brakes for locking the dolly in position, and dedicated locking screws are used to secure the tripod in place. Vidpro PD-1 reviews

PD-1 Tripod Dolly is rated 3.8 out of 5 by 5.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Disapointed The dolly isn't worth the money. It's cheaply made, doesn't roll smoothly, and my tripod slips out of the holder leaving my camera is a vicarious position. The dolly also doesn't fit properly in the bag that comes with it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Pretty good for the money Frankly for the price, I was pretty impressed with the build of this dolly. Another reviewer said it wasn't smooth and you wouldn't expect it to be considering the rather small wheels but on the right surface, it can actually be quite smooth. The one big drawback is that, in order to place my tripod on it, I have to remove the ground level spreader and use the spikes. It's an oversight not to have provided some sort of detent notch or hole to keep the tripod from falling off the other arms while you're tightening down the first and second legs. And yes, if your camera is on the tripod, it's in danger. I am going to try to drill such a detent and I thin that will take care of it. Until then, I gaff tape my legs so that they do not move side to side .. I cannot trust that the feet will remain in place otherwise.
