The completely modular Cine.1 Matte Box from Chrosziel is built to be strong yet lightweight to fit into your handheld or studio camera rig. Having a matte box on the front of your lens allows you more flexilbility in lighting your scene by blocking light sources just out of frame from directly entering the lens, which can cause the lens to flare, and introduce image artifacts. This particular iteration of the Cine.1 series can be mounted on 19mm studio rods, and is configured with three filter stages, which can be easily removed when not required by your production.
Chrosziel's Extra Large Side Flags add light control to select matte boxes when strong light sources like the sun and high wattage broad lights. This side flag will block light sources and keep glare and flare from ruining your image.
Note: Pivot mechanism accessories are required to attach the side flags to your matte box
Install side flags in your Cine.1 Matte Box with this Chrosziel Side Flag Pivot Mechanism Set. Using the included screws, the pivot mechanisms secure to the left and right sides of the matte box and have screw clamps for holding side flags. Each pivot mechanism enables the side flags to be adjusted laterally to compensate for focal length.
Mount accessories top of your Cine.1 matte box with Chrosziel's Top Accessory Bar. The bar itself slots in at the top of the Cine.1 matte box and provides 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 tapped holes to mount articulating arms or other accessories. The top of the bar includes a sliding accessory mounting thread for attaching distance measurement equipment.
This pair of Rosettes from Chrosziel attach directly to the Cine.1 matte box frame, allowing you to secure accessories compatible with the Arri rosette standard to the Cine.1 matte box.
This Tray Catcher from Chrosziel attaches to the bottom of the Cine.1 matte box and extends to prevent filter trays from accidentally falling through the matte box during loading.
