The Telmax TRITON T15B 15" Teleprompter & Apple TV Kit from B&H is a unique solution that lets you run a teleprompting application on your iOS device and then wirelessly display it on the Telmax TRITON T15B's 15" LCD screen for your talent to read. This is possible thanks to the included 3rd generation Apple TV that allows select mobile devices running iOS 8 or later to use peer-to-peer AirPlay screen mirroring, all without needing an internet connection. The mirrored screen is then displayed on the teleprompter's screen by connecting the Apple TV using an included HDMI to VGA adapter. To use Peer-to-peer AirPlay, you need one of the following devices running iOS 8 or later: iPhone 5 or later, iPad mini or iPad 4th generation or later, iPod touch (5th generation or later).
The 15" LCD on the Telmax TRITON T15B provides a reading range up to 18'. You can use the teleprompter with the included Apple TV, or in a more traditional configuration with an optional camcorder. The TRITON T15B is a modular system that includes a head assembly and a sled system. The sled system is based on a pair of 18" long 15mm rods and includes all of the components you need to attach the teleprompter head assembly and camera on a tripod. The tripod mount is offset for optimal weight distribution. The head assembly slides onto the 15mm rods and is designed to work with any size camera by adjusting the height and position of the camera mounting platform. The beamsplitter glass measures 14 x 14" and has a 70/30 transmission/reflection ratio. A ZaPrompt Pro software license for four computers comes included.
