Angler RC-16-R Receiver Reviews

Works!

I bought a couple of second-hand 400 watt Angler strobes that are several years old and needed to control them wirelessly. I'm glad that B&H still carries these units, as they make the older Angler models very easy to use and control with the transmitter. The receivers are super small and easy to store as well. The transmitter is also available from B&H and it is very budget friendly to complete the wireless set up.

Easy Wireless Controls Make Studio Time More efficient

Just ran these through a test in my studio and they worked perfectly. No setup or format was necessary. Just plug these receivers into your lights, attached the transmitter to your hotshoe and begin shooting. Lights fire flawlessly every time! If you have a set of these lights, Id really recommend spending the few bucks it takes to get these receivers and a transmitter. Itll make the time spent in studio or on location much more enjoyable. Youll be able to focus on your subject instead of focusing on light adjustment because each light can be assigned to a different group. This allows you to control the output from the transmitter - no more running around from light to light to adjust settings!
