Great studio tripod dolly

Anytime we're shooting in a studio and need to pivot from one set to the next, these tripod dolly's allow us to save our backs and quickly reposition on the fly. They are solid, have great brake pedals that activate and deactivate quickly, and fit our flowtech tripods and other tripods easily. I own two and will continue to add more to the kit as needed.

Although I've only had this product for a couple of weeks so far my initial impressions are that overall, this is a good product and fits perfectly to my Libec 4T40B tripod. It rolls well on vinyl. My only critique so far is that it's perhaps a little to light. While being lightweight is good for packing and transporting, the lightness tends to make the overall weight of the dolly, tripod and camera a bit top heavy. In turn, because the dolly is so light, when I roll across commercial carpet, any slight rises or bumps in the carpet tends to send the dolly off your intended course. So you end up with some undesired waviness in your camera movement. Now, of course having said this, having a dolly for moving shots, combined with image stabilization, is still far better than trying to do the same shot with hand held. Adding a little extra weight to the center of the dolly seems to help too.

Can this dolly be used with a Sarchtler Flowtech ...

Can this dolly be used with a Sarchtler Flowtech 75? I know it's not on the list, but the list may predate the Flowtech tripod...

The Libec DL-3RB Standard Dolly for RT30B/RT40RB/RT50B/RT50C Tripods does not have a caster set for dolly use.
