FotodioX PL-FXRF-PRO Overview

This Pro Lens Mount Adapter from FotodioX allows you to use a ARRI PL-mount lens on your FUJIFILM X-mount camera. Designed to support focusing to infinity, it is constructed from brass and has a stainless-steel lens mounting ring to provide a durable, yet lightweight camera-to-lens connection.

This adapter does not support electronic communication between the attached camera and lens. After being placed on the front of the adapter, focus and aperture controls on a compatible lens would continue to be used.

The adapter is solid and well made. It could use some small handles or knobs to crank the mount down a bit more, but the lock feels confident and sturdy.

Bought this adapter blind for a small project I was shooting that required Cine glass. I'm thoroughly happy with it. It fits the X-Mount perfectly with no wiggle or play at all; and the PL mount tightens snug on the front. I mounted Leica Summicron-C Cine lenses on my Fujifilm X-T2, and it maintained focus all the way through the range. I felt comfortable with the weight of the Leica Summicron-C’s, but I wouldn’t put anything heavier than that on this mount as I don’t think the camera’s X-Mount would be able to handle the weight. I think the Leica Summilux and Summicron Cine lenses, Arri Ultra Primes, and the Zeiss CP2’s and CP3’s would be ideal for this. Anything heavier would require rod support with a lens post. Does NOT come with a front cap or rear cap! Otherwise, very happy with it!

What PL lenses does it fit? Does it have the same problem as the PL to EF adapter?My guess is that it would work with more lenses due to the mirrorless factor.

You can use any PL lens with this adapter. There are no compatibility issues.
