The 39.4" long Konova K2 Slider supports loads up to 39.6 lb and features roller bearings that provide smooth, stable, and quiet operation. The slider can be supported using a single tripod or a pair of tripods/stands thanks to 1/4"-20 threads located on the underside of the track and positioned at the center and at either end. Additionally, there are threaded holes at the sides of the slider that enable you to mount it vertically, for expanded creative possibilities. For ground-level shooting, a pair of height and angle-adjustable legs with rubber ball feet that screw into the sides of the slider are included.

The slider carriage features a 3/8"-16 mounting point for attaching a fluid head or ball head, while also offering two 1/4"-20 threaded holes should you want to mount your camera or an accessory on an articulating arm. The resistance of the carriage can be dialed to taste quickly using a red friction adjustment knob, or with more finesse using a wrench to adjust tension. A metric ruler running the length of the slider makes it easy to perform precise and repeatable camera movements. Should you wish to expand the system in the future, you can choose to add an optional crank handle kit or one of the motion controller options.

    K2 Slider (39.4") is rated 2.3 out of 5 by 3.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not for serious work First of all, it's not at all smooth. Be prepared to use a lot of smooth-cam in post. Secondly, the lock screw has now stripped out the hole in the plate twice. I'm on my second one now. So if you want a rough slide with no way to lock it, this is your slider.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Forget this slider if you want good, steady motion. A perfect example of false economy, fundamentally, this is a poorly designed slider. The slider carriage is mounted on three very cheap and poorly-sealed roller bearings. They pick up gunk like nobody's business, as do the rails, meaning and the tiniest grain of sand is like a boulder on a train track, and you'll feel it through your hand (and see it in your footage) every time. I made the mistake of dismantling mine to clean it, revealing one of the crudest fine adjustment systems I've ever encountered. It was laughable. Just an off-center bearing which bites against the rails if you adjust its orbit carefully enough. That wouldn't be so bad if it held its tune, but even minor use will see significant play develop in the mounting system, so always check it and adjust it before heading out to a job, otherwise you'll find the whole rig loose and slapping around like a piston in an old lawn mower. Honestly, my skateboard is a more reliable option for dolly shots. I'm giving this product two stars because Konova's modular design means you can build on these sliders into an impressive rig, including a crane or paralax unit with only a small added investment, and how great does that sound? But it's like soup from a stone, and in this case, you're starting with a stone. Spend the extra dollars and get a Rhino or Kessler, especially if you ever plan to do anything professionally.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Pretty good, but... PROS: Super portable, works well, can handle some weight, smooth motion, price, comes with a case. CONS: Even the smallest grain of dust/sand/hair will cause some jitter in the rolling mechanism. It's very sensitive. A flywheel would improve the motion. All in all I'm glad I bough. However, if this ever breaks, I'll probably fork out the extra $$ and get a slider with a flywheel.
