The Protective Cover came scratched on the adhesive side in the center of the protector, the scratch was obscured by the white paper 3M adhesive backing cover. I noticed it the moment I applied it to my Sony A5100’s LCD screen. At that point it was too late to return it. Only good things are: 1. It fits the A5100 LCD Screen perfectly. 2. Despite the scratch it feels sturdy. Thankfully the scratch doesn’t get in the way much so I can still use it but it’s not something you want on a product you’re paying for new, Quality Control failed in that department.
Without instructions, yes. But installed without problems.
