MagPak Battery for Second Shooter is rated 3.4 out of 5 by 5.
Rated 2 out of 5 by from Power display is always wrong I just want to warn people that these batteries will not show you the correct level of charge. Other than that, the magnetic attachment is kind of cool.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Overall a failed product The Second Shooter Plus that I purchased is pretty great. Does some amazing things. But these batteries are terrible. The first one I had worked ok for a couple of months, then started to drain so fast that I could never use it in continuous video mode for more than a few minutes. Timelapse mode would work alright for about two hours, but that's it. Also, as others have mentioned, the charge indicator lights NEVER worked properly. Always shows 1 bar. Bought a second battery from B&H thinking I just got a bad one. Same problems started within a month. Luckily this one was within the return time limit, so I've sent it back for another replacement. Bottom line is, I shoot all day on very remote job sites. I can't drag a generator around and an extension cord ain't gonna work out in the sticks. I was hoping to get at least two timelapses of about 240 frames each out of each battery, but they don't even give me that long. Not sure if there's an alternative out there, but I'm starting to look around. For now I'm stuck using my generator if I want to use the Second Shooter for more than a few minutes of motion.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Lightweight power for TLS Great for light weight powering of the TLS System. Both of my batteries seem quirky in that I have to turn the battery on, and THEN connect it to the controller. If I connect it first and then turn the batter power on, the batteries won't work and almost act like they blew a fuse. The LED indicator lights just shut off and the controller doesn't turn on. Maybe this is how it is supposed to be used but they did not come with any instructions and it seems counter intuitive.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent battery system. This is an excellent, lightweight, small package battery system for the Second Shooter unit. I've purchased 4 direct from the Supplier, as International Shipping of Lithium Batteries is not something that B&H like to get involved in. Noting that other reviewers have had charging-related issues. The instructions for charging are printed quite clearly on the underside of the charger block, but they are a little quirky. You turn the battery on first, then plug the charger into the battery, then you plug the charger into the wall. If you just plug the battery into a live charger, nothing will happen. Quirky, but not the end of the world. Charge time is empty to full in about 3 hours cycle. One charge should last you for many multiaxis timelapse shoots (let's say 10 or so 700-photo lapses). The magnetic attachment system is excellent - easy and very professional-looking.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great solution for portable power! I love these batteries. I use the stealth slider + Second Shooter system for a second angle during interviews, and have shot for a little over half a day with one battery. So portable, and I love the magnet feature!
