The 12.9' Pro Backdrop Support Kit from Impact is a sturdy, secure way of hanging cloth backgrounds or seamless paper rolls weighing up to 38 lb. The kit comes with two stands and a telescoping crossbar. The stands have a maximum height of 13.5' - enough to give you headroom for low-angle shooting. Their minimum height is 4.5'. The crossbar telescopes from 4.8 to 12.9' - more than enough to handle rolls of 9' seamless paper and canvas backdrops. Reversible spigots with 1/4" and 3/8" mounting posts are included, allowing you to use the stands with other gear when not using the crossbar. It all fits in a provided deluxe padded case.

The diameter of the crossbar itself is 32 mm (1 1/4 inch).
The end caps are 38 mm (1 1/2 inch) without the screws.
With the screws in open position, they are about 65 mm (2 1/2 inch), but taking off one screw to slide the background in is not much of a problem

How easily does the crossbar hold rolls of seamless paper? Do you have to remove the crossbar knobs to fit it in the paper tube?
Pretty easy, just remove one locking knob.

I don't Know, but you can use some similar, like the Impact Heavy-Duty Air-Cushioned Light Stand (Black, 9.5') it's work for me. I used to expand my background also.

Impact makes a "Pro" version light stand...I have this item and am considering getting another one just for the stands as they are super beefy and pretty much the same footprint (stand legs) as the other stands and I'll have an extra crossbar to boot!

Hi, actually I asked this question. I did some quick research and the diameter of the legs are in fact 22mm. So I would have to say "Yes" it will accept the wheel kit
