This is perfect but it needs stops on the ends.

I like it !

The foot is great. Sigma should put this on the lens as new. It gives proper balance in all zoom settings. This has an Arca Swiss base on it which works on a gimble.

question

what foot plate will work with a jobu design dmghd4 gimbal head and a sigma contemporary 150-600mm lens?
Asked by: Anonymous
As Sigma states the TS-81 Lens Foot for 150-600mm f/5-6.3 DG OS HSM Sport Lens is compatible with Arca-Swiss clamps, and the Jobu Design DMG-HD4 Heavy Duty Gimbal Head MK IV is also Arca-Swiss compatible, both items should be compatible for use with one another. If you prefer a plate from Jobu, their website indicates the Jobu Design NX2 Surefoot Lensplate (4.5 ), B&H # JOSFNX2, would be compatible for use with the Sigma 150-600mm f/5-6.3 DG OS HSM Contemporary Lens.https://bhpho.to/2hxrACL

How does this attach to the collar/ bracket that came with the Sigma 150-600 Contemporary model? Do you need any other parts/accessories to make this part work in a standard arca gimbal? Is it possible to get more/ better photos to see this from various angles and how attachments and thread holes are laid out? I like using a black rapid strap as I move about and getting places with my tripod before setting up my lens on a gimbal. Having better photos would give me more confidence in making this purchase. Thanks.
Asked by: Sara
This foot is not for the contemporary lens, only for the sports version. The sports version has a removable foot that separates from the collar.
