    CONCEPT ONE OT35 3-Way Pan/Tilt Head is rated 2.5 out of 5 by 2.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Light and solid I wanted a 3 axis head that would use the same ARCA style mounting plate as my ball head. Thus you do not have to change the plates every time you change tripods. This can be a real hassle when you have several camera bodies This is one of three that Cullmann has and it is the lightest at 12.3 oz of the three. I occasionally use a 70-300 lens with a teleconverter and need a steady platform for the 600mm shots. This has worked fine so far and I have no reason to expect otherwise. With the handles that detach and are held by built in lanyards this head would be ideal for travel tripods as well. The only drawback I can see is the amount of travel on the vertical axis. It will move more than 90 degrees down but only about 25 degrees above horizontal. If you are planning on taking sky shots the camera must be mounted facing vertical adjustment handle. (their next model up seems to have more range of movement) This is why I have given a 4 star rating. The scales are easy to read and all adjustments are easy and lock solidly without effort. Yes I would buy or recommend this product to others.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from good idea, serious flaws The description says arca-type compatible. My RRS angle plate would not work with it. The clamp is insubstantial and fiddly - would not trust it with my camera. The base does not have enough threads to securely mount to a tripod that has a stud - a tripod with 3/8 or 1/4 threaded hole is required.
