question

Does it work for a Red Epic?
Asked by: Mark
These Extended Tilt Arms are designed to allow taller cameras to balance on the Ronin-M. It may be possible with a Red Epic, but it will also depend on the lens you are using and any other gear rigged up on the gimbal.

question

Will this work with the C100 mark 2 if you have the extension arms or is the viewfinder still an issue?
Asked by: Joshua S.
From what I recall the view finder will clear the back of the Ronin-M (you do have to remove the rubber eye piece) once you drop the Canon C100 II all the way to the bottom on the tilt arms. The only problem is that when the camera is dropped so far down it becomes bottom/back heavy and the only way to balance it then would be to through a heavy lens on it and maybe even add some extra weight to the top of the camera somehow. At the time I was using the Canon C100 II with Canon 10-18mm (cheapie light weight lens w/ face recognition) and I wasn't able to balance the camera. Once I removed the tilt arms I was able to balance the camera perfectly only problem was the viewfinder not clearing the back of the Ronin-M. This limited my movements a bit but I learned to live with it. Hope this helps.

question

If I use these on the Ronin MX with a Canon C300 mki will I be able to use briefcase and overslung mode normally?
Asked by: Andy
I use the C100 mkii with these extentions in the ronin mx and the dimensions of the camera won't let you turn the ronin from normal mode to overslung without turning the ronin off. It' not the best camera size for the ronin.

question

What are the difference between these and the DJI extension rods for the Ronin M?
Asked by: Anonymous
The extension arms from Cine Milled are 2.5 x 0.5 x o.5 / 6.4 x 1.3 x 1.3 cm and they do not have an end cap.DJI Extends the Vertical Adjustment Arms, located on both sides of the camera base plate, by 30mm.
