Rated 5 out of 5 by from Must need if not using a DSLR This is a life saver when using the Ronin-M with my Sony FS5. Make balancing easier as well as gives me more range of movement.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Bought For DSLR The extension pieces I was hoping would help with the balancing/microphone issue I was having and clear the top of the tilt. I could not put my rode stereo or videomic pro on it when it tilted up and down. Since my 7D Mark ii balances so high on the Ronin-M these extension Rods will not work. Also you have to take them out to put back in the box. I do not see a need every for these really. I could put them on, but since not balanced the motor would just get hot, go to 99% power and shutdown. Do not get fooled, the Ronin-M is not really great with any kind of weight. We have a Sony FDR-AX100 and works great except you hear the noise from the ronin and the camera. So if you want professional sound from the Ronin-M it will be quality unless you have a boom stick. I bought this to be 100% mobile. If my camera balanced real low this would have got 5 stars

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Does what it is supposed to... I had been torn on wether to proceed with a ronin purchase because of some trouble I had on a shoot with the ronin-m carrying the C100-mkII. These extensions solve the issue flawlessly. I find the balance to be simpler and better with the extensions than without. If you are a C100 shooter these are a must! They will open a new door to what you can do with your equipment.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from perfect for my Nikon D4s setup with DJI Ronin M This 1.2" extension rods fits well with my nikon D4s on DJI Ronin M. It is much more easy balance for a tall, big body like the nikon D4, D4s, D5. Previously, I ordered the 1.8" rods which is too long for the system. I recommend that you should order this 1.2" extension rods if you use nikon D4, D4s, D5 with the DJI Ronin M.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Need a little custom the length for Ronin MX It works nice for my Ronin MX to balance tilt axis when I put 2 kg weight camera body like FS7 and RED, but the minus is you can't tilt down your gimbal 90 degree, cause the bottom part of this rods will touch the Ronin MX arm... You just need custom the rods length with cut away the bottom part, and it will works nice!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect for the C100 Mark II The extension rods lower the C100 Mark II far enough down on the Ronin M to get a nice balance point. I have used with a Canon 10-18mm lens, a Canon 28mm 2.8 IS lens and a Tokina 11-16mm lens. All balance well and provide great footage. Definitely would recommend these rods.
