Rated 2 out of 5 by from Check the threads on the Easy Link Adaptors I bought this just in time for a video shoot. I set up all my kit, put the Friction Arm into my Easy Link hole on my Manfrotto head, put on a Atomos Ninja Asssassin 7 monitor. Within 2 minutes it snapped the thread off of the Easy Link hole on my tripod head. Tried it on the other side, same happened again. I have now had to send in my Tripod for repair and wasted an hour during the shoot. It looks like the thread was too short on the 3/8 inch adaptor that came with the friction arms, so if buying check this first.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from great for my 7 monitor I use this arm for my 7 screen like most people. It took me a while to finally decide to buy this because of it's price but I can tell you that I don't regret it at all. This arm provide great flexibility and I can pretty much have my screen be in any position within reach. The build feels sturdy and it doesn't feel cheap like a toy.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Arm best for Digital Director I am using this product to attach the Manfrotto Digital Director to a Manfrotto tripod. The Digital Director allows me to use the retina display of an Ipad Air 2 with a tripod mounted Canon to check focus, light and composition of still photos. This arm with its single friction knob makes positioning the Digital Director very easy. Only minor negative, Manfrotto should include 2 3/8 adapters along with the two 1/4 adapters.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Spend the extra $$ on this At first i cheaped out and got a $50 friction arm. It broke in hours. So I spent the money on this Manfrotto arm and have been very pleased. It is being used to mount a 7 monitor with a large battery to my DSLR cage and it works beautifully. You can tell build quality is very good, which is to be expected from Manfrotto. Worth the extra cash...

Rated 5 out of 5 by from High-quality articulating arm This one is professional grade for sure. Very sturdy and provides all the degrees of freedom you would expect. I replaced the 1/4 20 connector with the provided 3/8 so that I could connect it to the accessory input on my Manfrotto tripod without using an adapter. It is only the heavy side but highly dependable and can be locked down nicely.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worth the extra cash Most articulating arms are much cheaper and you get what you pay for. This thing is perfect. I use this with my Atomos Shogun Inferno and haven't had any issues with it getting loose, half of the time it works as a second top handle!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I have to have at least one. This is a must have for camera bag (roller), especially for lighting equipment. A little on the heavy side but well worth having with you. And the weight represents that it's a strong product with a solid name on the side of it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works for me. I use this to attach my tablet to the bottom screw (normally used for a weight hook) on the short column of my tripod. My use requires a female 3/8 to female 1/4 adapter sold separately. Works great.
