Support up to 17.6 lb with the FTA19CV0 Travel Angel Series 1 Carbon Fiber Tripod and the V0E Ball Head. This compact tripod features reverse-folding legs that enable the tripod to fold down to 20.8", which combined with its 3.2 lb weight makes this a suitable tripod for travel. When the 5-section twist-lock legs are fully extended the FTA19CV0 reaches a height of 58.9". One of the legs can be removed and connected to the center column to create a monopod for added versatility.

The legs are made from 9-layer carbon fiber for minimizing weight without sacrificing strength. To add stability, the rapid center column has a ballast hook on the bottom so that you can hang a stabilizing weight such as a heavy bag or case. Rubber feet and stainless steel spikes let you use the tripod on a variety of surfaces such as grass, ice, or wooden and tile floors. A dust cover and a carrying case with a shoulder strap are included to protect the legs when not in use.

The included V0E ball head has separate pan and ball locks, and an Arca-type compatible clamp with a quick-release plate. A 90° notch lets you quickly change your camera to portrait orientation, and an integrated bull's eye bubble level helps maintain horizontal alignment. The base of the head connects to a tripod or monopod via a 3/8"-16 thread and the included plate provides a 1/4"-20 camera mount.

FTA19CV0 Travel Angel Series 1 Carbon Fiber Tripod with V0E Ball Head is rated 4.8 out of 5 by 5.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for Run'n'Gun! Bought this set of sticks during a DealZone sale and glad I did. I'm a videographer and even though this has a photo head, it still works great for quick shots. No you won't be panning and tilting with this head, but the whole setup is lighter than my Manfrotto aluminum monopod so carry it around with a GH5 on top is a breeze. It folds up to half the size of my other tripods and the carbon fiber is really smooth and easy to use. The arca adapters are a nice addition to using Manfrotto's longer QRs, but it takes a little practice with this head. I'm definitely considering more carbon fiber sticks now and would consider Benro too now. Great product.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A great upgrade Having owned, and lost, a 9 year old base-level Benro Travel Angel tripod, I needed to replace it. So I purchased the FTA19CV0, which is a carbon fiber built tripod which folds to 17 inches (including the head) and exspands to full height. This tripod 1) seems sturdier than my old one, 2) more adaptable (comes with spikes for the feet and can be made into a monopod, and 3) has a head that holds my camera much better than the older one. Plus, it costs $75 less. I would highly recommend this tripod. For those serious photographers who feel that carbon fiber tripods are not steady enough, this tripod has a hook on which you can hang your camera bag to increase its stability.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Moderately Priced, Well Built Hobby, amateur photographer who loves this tripod. It is lightweight but stable and adjustments are smooth. If you are shopping for a moderately priced tripod that is solidly built and easy to use, you should consider this as a possibility. Only negative was that with a heavy lens, the ball head needed to really be tightened when rotating the camera into the 90 degree vertical position. Normal horizontal mounting, which balances the camera on the top of the ball head, did not need tightened as much to maintain the position. I suspect most ball heads are the same. That said, I would not hesitate to buy this again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Ticks all the boxes for me! I did a lot of homework before buying this tripod. I wanted a travel tripod which is not too heavy, but still quite stable, and this fits the bill. It is easy to use, appears to be very well made, and looks good too. It was also a very fair price for a carbon fibre tripod.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very Happy with this Tripod Excellent product for my needs. Well built. Only criticism is the instructions are awful. I went to Youtube to look at videos to figure things out.
