The Benro TAD28A Series 2 Adventure Aluminum Tripod can be used with any tripod head that has a 3/8-16 mount. Most Benro heads have a 3/8-16 female mount so they all should work.

Sorry for the late response, you've probably already found the answer by now... The clamps are made of plastic. However, they're very thick and solid, locking extremely tight, with a nice solid snap into place. Hope this helps!
