A smaller version of their popular Voyager model, Black Diamond's Process Blue Orbit v2 LED Lantern/Flashlight provides ultra-portable, ultra-versatile lighting for night-time hiking and camping activities. In lantern mode it produces 105 lumens of bright, ambient, non-glaring light, and in flashlight mode it creates a strong 50-lumen beam. These two modes and a third dual mode - both lantern and flashlight on - are controlled from one convenient pushbutton switch.
Its unique dimming switch allows users to set the output at any point through the lumen range of each mode to provide the perfect amount of light. The intelligent switch remembers the last mode selected and automatically returns to it when it is turned on, and it remembers the last intensity level selected for 10 minutes after being turned off. It's colored plastic housing is designed to be collapsible for easier packing and hauling and a double-hook loop allows it the be easily hung. The lantern runs on four user-supplied AAA batteries.
