The ID:260 TVP from Blackstar is a 2x 60W stereo programmable combo amplifier for guitarists with an assortment of features to custom-design their own sound, store it, and then recall it for use in a live environment. The amp can be used in a variety of applications for live performance, recording, rehearsals, and more.
The ID:Series amplifiers feature Blackstar's proprietary True Valve Power (TVP) and offer six different power valve responses such as EL84, 6V6, EL34, KT66, 6L6, and KT88. When engaged, it delivers the response, dynamics, sag, and break-up characteristics of a valve amp.
The ID:260 TVP's Voice control provides six different channels: Clean Warm, Clean Bright, Crunch, Super Crunch, Overdrive 1, and Overdrive 2. Together with the ISF (Infinite Shape Feature) control, you can dial in the exact tone that you're thinking of in your head.
In addition, the effects section delivers studio-quality modulation, delay, and reverb effects simultaneously that you can store with your sound. There are four of each effect type, all based on classic and boutique effects. The storing and editing of patches is simple using Blackstar's Insider software. You can build a library of patches that can be shared, uploaded, and downloaded through Blackstar's online community. A USB connector also allows you to record from your amp directly to your computer.
Finally, a speaker emulated output and MP3/line input are also built into this combo amp, allowing you to use headphones or record directly to tape or disk.
