Mount-It! MI-789 Reviews

Works really well, other than possibility of tipping forward

I am using the stand on my desk, rather than mounting it to the desk, due to the construction of my work area. With all three 24 monitors on it, if you angle the two outside monitors inward too much the stand will tip forward. As long as the three monitors are side by side next to each other, or just turned inward slightly it is fine. To secure the stand I have placed heavy duty velcro to the bottom of the stand, and it works just fine.

Good, but..

It would have been 5 stars if "C" clamp was the other option, instead of trying to drill a hole on your table. Another downside is the left and right screens cannot come any closer to me because of clearance. I've got 3 24 inch screens with thin bezels and the left and right screens cannot cave in any closer. I would say 22-23 would be max screen size to make full use of the 2nd and 3rd screen. I'll be keeping this for a bit to get my money's worth, but will def replace it with something that will allow me to move the left and right screens closer to me.

question

Will this stand accept and support 3 Asus VS248H-P monitors? I am looking to have one monitor centered. The one to my left at a slight angle if I were looking at the monitors and the monitor to my right almost straight off the center one. I do not want any gap between the monitors. Will this work for my purpose?

I use this stand with 3 ASUS VP247H-P 23.6 Widescreen Monitors. It is set up with one monitor centered and the other two at slight (30 deg) angles. There is no gap between them. I'm fairly certain you could set up the right one to be straight (no angle) off the center one and have it touching too.

question

Will this work for only two monitors? I have two 24 16:10 LCDs and would like to know if I can put them side by side while I wait to get the third monitor. I would attach them to the outer mounts if they arms bend enough to push them together.

You could try but you will need an extra weight for support on the base as it will be a bit unstable.
