Easily transport the empty saddlebag to your location where it can be filled with available sand, dirt, or rocks and securely zipped shut. When your shoot is over, simply empty the contents to make your load lighter for the commute back home. Weather- and water-resistant cordura fabric stands up to the elements and use over time, while the double-zipper design provides an extra level of security to prevent the contents from spilling. Empty Saddle Sandbag - (15 lb Capacity, Orange) is rated 4.9 out of 5 by 23.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from A little tight for 15lbs of sand, but good product. I got 5lbs of sand into each wing of the bags with no problem to make 10lb bags. I put the sand into a gallon size freezer bag, then that bag into a second for safety, and then stuffed that package into the sandbag wing. I'm going to go back and bring a couple of them up to the full 15lb weight, but getting the extra 2.5lbs into each wing might be a little tricky. I'm sure, like all my other sandbags, that they'll stretch a bit to accommodate the rest of the sand. When I can find it, I might sub some lead or steel shot into there instead of the sand. The double zippers are nice to make sure your weight medium stays put in the bags.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good construction I bought two if these for my light stands and C-Stand for inside and outdoor use. The double zipper is great when using gravel or sand. I prefer to just slip in two 5 lb plate weights per bag.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from They are what they are There's no questioning that these are sandbags. They are a great size for what I use and I do like the portability (the ability to empty and refill). The bright orange is actually a nice touch. It adds just a little visibility to what is most assumably a black stand. So far, durability has not been an issue.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Does what it needs to do. Highly recommended. Great sandbag made with durable material. Filled it up with my own sand (tip: put the sand in Ziploc bags before putting it in the sandbag) and brought it out to several shoots to aid in my lighting setup. No issues. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a sandbag that does its job. #sweepstakes

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy to fill. Adds stability. For shooting the eclipse, I had a couple of decent tripods and one cheap one. Having this bag filled with pea gravel came in handy. I had to tilt my dslr with Canon telephoto lens at quite an angle on my lightweight tripod. This weighted bag ensured my camera and lens wouldn't tip over backwards.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good Solid Sandbag Nice and sturdy, well made sandbags. I have two and I put sand into plastic bags and put those in the double zipper pockets. Anchors down my light stands, so they don't blow over when I'm shooting outdoors. Just a good precaution against tipping light stands in general.
