The IP STREAMER Receiver from KanexPro is an HDMI Over IP decoder with PoE support designed for use with the IP STREAMER transmitter. It uses a 1000Base-T Gigabit Ethernet connection to accept 1080p HDMI and DVI signals from a separately-available transmitter unit over Cat 5e/6 cable. The receiver decodes the input signal in real time and outputs it over HDMI to your display. When used with the transmitter and an optional network switch, it is able to extend HDMI signals up to 656' over Cat 6 cable. By pairing the unit with additional receivers coming out of the network switch, you can send the input signal from an IP STREAMER transmitter to an array of displays, making it ideal for digital signage installations with up to 250 displays, based on your network switch and capacity.
Note: The receiver does not come with an AC adapter, as it is designed to be powered from a network switch supporting PoE. For use without an Ethernet switch, a separately-available external power supply (EXT-PSU1) is required.
