A Well Built, Affordable Guitar For Beginners

I've been playing guitar since 1965 and own a few nice guitars. My 11 year old granddaughter asked me recently if I would teach her how to play guitar as she likes to watch me play different styles and she is learning music at school. My electric guitars are kind of big and heavy for her, so I researched lower priced acoustic guitars for her to learn on and be a nice birthday present in January. The Ibanez JAMPACK consistently had great reviews and the local guitar store only had one display unit that was a bit banged up, but had great feel, weight and very good craftsmanship. I found this online at B&H that I had bought a lot of photo equipment from 30 years ago, so I got it. Standard delivery was very fast. I tuned it up with the provided digital tuning meter, played a number of tunes and was impressed with the feel, size and sound and extras for the price. I was very happy buying it and she was ecstatic getting it as a gift - it's a win/win.
