The PF Performance Series PF28ECE from Ibanez is a shallow-depth dreadnought acoustic/electric guitar made from flamed maple and sapele with a transparent red sunburst high-gloss finish. The single-cutaway dreadnought body delivers a powerful and balanced acoustic sound. Unplugged or amplified, the instrument is well suited for solo performances or playing with a full band.
The PF28ECE features a flamed maple top, okoume neck, sapele back and sides, purpleheart fingerboard and bridge, chrome die-cast tuners, Ibanez Advantage bridge pins, ivory body bindings, and a water decal sound rosette.
For electronics, the guitar is equipped with a Fishman Sonicore pickup, an Ibanez SST Shape Shifter preamp with controls for volume, phase, bass, middle, treble, and shape, and an onboard tuner. The PF28ECE ships with two AA batteries and (.012-.053 gauge) strings.
