The BTB series BTB676MNTF from Ibanez is a 6-string electric bass guitar featuring a maple/bubinga neck-thru design, a walnut top, an ash wing body, and a natural flat finish. The deep cutaway body allows for unencumbered access to the upper regions of the fingerboard, ensuring solid playability and stability. Traditionally found on boutique basses, the extended 35" scale offers proper articulation, while the Mono-Rail II bridge offers each string their own individual bridge, preventing each string's vibration from interfering with each other. The warm and clear Bartolini pickups offer a tight bottom end and a full mid-range, while the 3-band active EQ provides further tone shaping with dedicated bass, treble, and mid controls. Additionally, a mid frequency switch (250 Hz or 600 Hz) further expands the mid-range shaping capabilities for a more dynamic and ideal tone.
- The BTB's extra-long 35-inch neck scale offers tight, even tension with no flopping on the low end, and added sustain on the high strings. It also provides superior articulation, making it perfect for both 5 and 6-strings
- The Mono-Rail bridge delivers the ultimate in string-to-string isolation, meaning that each string vibrates optimally without be affected by the others. BTB's string spacing is 19mm for 5-strings, and 17mm for 6-strings, offering more freedom on the fretboard, and comfortable access for finger picking and slapping
- Balancing clarity with warmth is the hallmark of the new Bartolini pickup. Coils with lower resonant frequency provide tighter bottom end and full midrange. Also, the dual-coil style configuration maximizes articulation. A long blade polepiece widens the magnetic field, therefore, whether five-string or six, sound level is balanced by the ultra-precise vibration reaction of the longer coils
- 3-band EQ with mid frequency switch fine-tuned specifically for the BTB. The active 3-Band EQ features fully independent bass, treble, and mid Controls with a wide boost/cut range. The preamp system is equipped with a mid-frequency select switch, enabling you to instantly select 250 Hz and 600 Hz - the heart of the mid zone - for a more dynamic and ideal tone
