Designed by Kit Carson, the CRKT M16-14D Tanto Folding Knife features a 3.99" partially serrated tanto blade made from AUS-8 stainless steel with a Desert Tan Ti-Nitrade finish. The tanto-style Razor Sharp blade has a hollow grind with Triple-Point serrations on part of the blade edge, ideal for sawing through objects like rope, webbing, or vegetation.
Two thumb studs with checkered surfaces make opening the knife a quick and simple task, and the AutoLAWKS safety system acts as a backup to the liner lock, preventing any accidental closure. The knife's handle is made from 6061 T6 aluminum alloy with a 420J2 stainless steel liner, and is hard anodized in the same Desert Tan color as the blade. Lubricated washers at the pivot point make for ideal blade action. A four-position clip allows you to carry the knife tip-up, tip-down, left, or right, although it is not designed for tip-up in-pocket carrying.
