Lowepro BP 150 Overview

Keep your photo or personal gear and 10" tablet organized with the lightweight and sporty blue Tahoe BP150 Backpack from Lowepro. A roomy dual-zipper main compartment features two large and two small padded adjustable dividers to protect your DSLR, 2 lenses, flash and additional accessories, while an interior zippered pocket separates cables and spare batteries. Below the interior zipper, an UltraFlex panel can fold down to create a divider and more space for personal gear.

Your 10" tablet can be stored in the zippered front compartment with separate built-in slip pockets for pens and small accessories, while a built-in clip can hold your keys. A discreet zippered outer pocket offers space for smaller frequently used items like a wallet, smartphone, and earbuds. Two tall, stretch-mesh side pockets accommodate quick-grab items like a large water bottle or a compact tripod. Padded backpack straps adjust for a comfortable fit and a grab handle at the top allows for easy access when storing in an overhead bin or even at home when not in use.

Great backpack for the money. Holds camera and lens really good. Very padded. Holds books too.

Great traveling bag. Was easy to carry, and store on the plane. Held more than I needed it to, and can accommodate many useful photography & non photography items.

Compact, 1 body 4 lens

Compact but still carries a Z7ii with a 34-70mm f2.8 mounted, plus 4 other lens, lights etc. This is not the most comfortable pack to carry esp for long hikes but I love the compactness. Build quality is fine.

This backpack is super comfortable to wear and holds a few lenses and my camera nicely, even a water bottle. I used it all day at the zoo recently and had no issues with it.

This backpack is ideal for the camera and its accessories. In addition, it allows you to carry a tablet and other electronic devices.

Compact size is just perfect

I have a couple of large camera backpacks, but I was looking for something compact to take on short local trips, and this pack was just perfect. As camera backpacks go, it's small for sure, but I was able to snuggly fit my GH5 (mounted with a Metabones and Canon 17-40L), and also my Canon 70-200 f4. See the included picture. It took quite a bit of wrestling with the dividers until I found a configuration that would fit this combination. The only reason I gave it 4 stars was because of what I consider to be a design oversight regarding the dividers. The bottom of the top pouch does not have Velcro material on it, so you are limited to running the dividers horizontally for the long runs. With Velcro material only on the sides and bottom, this limits the choices of divider configurations that you can use. In my case, I ran one of the long dividers horizontally just below the top, and used that space for slim filter packs. There's also decent room for other small accessories in the top pouch and the cover flap.

Pretty Good. Almost great.

For a bag this size, it is very good internally. It also looks pretty nice outside. I've started using it regularly. The one big flaw is the click-lock straps on the sides of the bag. They are ALWAYS in the way!!! (Unless the bag is closed and you're traveling with it.) The Lowepro designers could have easily handled this by coming up with a slightly different clip setup or a tuck-in slot that would allow the straps to be out of the way when the bag is open or being opened. While these side strap clips apparently serve the role of backup closure security in case the zipper on the main section fails, they are so badly designed that I cut them off of my bag and I'm just living with the risk of that zipper failing. -Wish me luck. :-)

I wonder where a travel tripod would fit in the bag, like a Sirui T-005BK? Maybe I can stick it in the stretch-mesh side pockets? But will the pocket breaks easily after a few uses?
Asked by: Julian
probably not. a water bottle will fit side pockets. side pockets are made of heavy duty mesh. it is a good bag.
