Designed as a powerful but compact illumination tool, the Nitecore TM16 LED Flashlight is loaded with features that make ideal for a wide range of jobs: from reading a map to Search & Rescue. It is equipped with five well-spaced brightness levels from 5 to 4000 lumens and three special strobe modes, all outputted from four CREE XM-L2 LEDs and controlled from two pushbutton switches on the body. The intelligent last-mode-memory switches feature an integrated power level indicator and provide instant access to both the minimum and turbo outputs for greater versatility.
Complementing it's performance is a lightweight and durable aluminum alloy housing with a corrosion and scratch-resistant anodized finish. A stainless steel retaining ring protects the head and window from drops and impacts while active and passive overheat protection systems prevent damage from the heat generated when set at higher outputs. The housing is O-ring sealed for an IPX8-rating to be submersible to 6.6' for up to 30 minutes, and its durable construction protects it from impacts of up to 5 feet. A 1/4"-20 tripod mount on the tailcap enables the light to be used hands-free for tasks such as setting up camp or staging areas, or outdoor nighttime photography lighting.
