The Pat Metheny Signature Series PM2 from Ibanez is a hollow-body electric guitar made with a maple top, back, and sides, a PM 3-piece mahogany/maple set-in neck, and an antique amber gloss finish. The single-cutaway hollow-body delivers a rich tone well suited for jazz solo and ensemble playing, while the PM neck with Artstar fret edge treatment provides a tight response and smooth left-hand fingering. The Super 58 passive humbucker pickup delivers a smooth, nuanced tone.
