The double-cutaway hollow-body delivers a rich tone well suited for jazz solo and ensemble playing, while the JSM neck has an Artstar fret edge treatment, which provides a comfortable action with precision and speed. The Super 58 humbucker pickups offer a warm, balanced articulation, while a dedicated Tri-Sound switch taps the coil of the neck pickup to provide a single coil tone, or changes the pickup to a parallel configuration.
