The Thunder Pro Laptop-Based Live Multi-Camera Production Studio from vMix includes a vMix Thunder laptop, vMix Pro Live production software, AJA Io 4K Thunderbolt I/O device, Sony Vegas Pro Edit post production software, and a 3.3' Thunderbolt cable.
The vMix Thunder laptop is powered by a 2.6 GHz Intel Core i7-4720HQ processor and features a 16GB DDR3 RAM. The combination of a 1TB 7200rpm hard drive and a 256GB SSD system drive give you ample room for storing your processed HD videos, music, and more. For connecting to the Internet, a Gigabit Ethernet port and 802.11ac Wi-Fi are included. For connecting external peripherals, the laptop comes with three USB 3.0 ports and one HDMI Out port. It also comes with an SD card reader and a webcam.
The multi-function vMix 4K Live production software is able to switch between multiple HD or 4K sources; the maximum number depending on the limitations of the computer, its GPU, and the video capture hardware installed (four HD resolution external sources with the included AJA Io 4K). It can stream a live program feed out to the Web over RTMP, RTSP, or Flash and can also record locally at up to HD resolution in AVI, MP4, MPEG-2, or WMV. If a video output is available, it can send out a full quality program feed for local presentation or recording separately.
The AJA Io 4K I/O for Thunderbolt 2 is a portable capture and output device that offers professional video and audio connectivity with support for 4K and UltraHD workflows. It handles a wide range of formats from SD to full 4K over both SDI and HDMI. Built around Thunderbolt 2 technology, the Io 4K allows even greater bandwidth between host computer systems and Thunderbolt devices. The dual Thunderbolt 2 ports allow you to daisy chain additional peripherals such as high resolution displays and high-capacity storage.
The Vegas Pro 13 Edit software features integrated audio editing tools, timeline color correction and effects compositors, and wide plug-in support. Vegas Pro 13 Edit also incorporates timeline tools for editing and troubleshooting stereoscopic 3D footage, and allows you to preview 3D projects in high quality using 3D SDI or HDMI I/O hardware and monitors.
