Buyer BewareLet me start off by saying that when this product is working properly it works wonderfully. I've never owned a slider as smooth and consistent as this. I liked it so much I purchased a SECOND Rhino EVO kit from B&H. However, the first kit I got had a wobbly flywheel. As soon as I posted about the issue on social media dozens of owners came out of the woodwork to confirm their unit exhibited the same issue. I reached out to Rhino support and they suggested I exchange it at B&H. Ok...so they refused to offer support and passed the buck back to B&H. So that's what I did, two days to get back to them, 2-3 days for approval and exchange, then another 2 days to get back to me. The second unit arrived with a much better flywheel. While it still wobbles a bit, not enough to feel the undulation in the slide. So I accepted it as it was, even though it's not perfect. Recently we are in need of a second slider so I placed ANOTHER order for this Rhino kit. However this time a pair of wheels on one side of the rails is barely making contact. In fact in some portions of the slide they don't make contact at all. I figure, no problem I'll just make adjustments. However the only adjustment I see is for the inner wheels, and no amount of tweaking seems to affect the outer wheels exhibiting the issue. No problem that's what Rhino support is for. I call and am immediately greeted by a message stating I've called during off hours or they are busy helping other customers (it was during business hours) so I left clear message describing my issue and state my name and return phone # for a call back. They never call back. I go ahead and call a second time the following day and leave another message. Again no call back. Another day goes by and I call a THIRD time and leave another message. No call back. I wait several days over the weekend and call a FOURTH time and two days later (today) I still have yet to receive a call back. Buyer beware. If you are lucky enough to get a good unit you'll be very happy. However if you have any issues (wobbly flywheel, or bad wheel alignment- good luck. Support is absolutely horrendous. As a side note this week NAB started, however Rhino doesn't have a booth this year and the only staff member attending is the CEO as per a response on their FB page.

Smooth like butterI know this slider is a little on the spendy-er side but it is worth every penny. This is by far the smoothest slider I have ever used and gives the most buttery slider action ever. I wasn't sure if I would use the flywheel but decided to get the bundle anyway. Honestly, the flywheel is half the magic. The difference between having it on an off is night and day. Without it, it feels like a more adjustable version of other sliders I have used before, but with it attached anyone can be smooth. I highly recommend this slider.

BUTTERY Smooth!!So far, I have absolutely loved my Rhino Slider! I love to use the term Buttery Smooth when I am able to obtain shots that just feel as smooth as they can possibly be. The Rhino Slider makes this possible with ease. I have yet to purchase the Rhino Motion & Arc, but this Rhino Slider Evo Carbon with Flywheel is an amazing start and addition to my equipment. I will most likely be adding the other equipment when I am able to. Setup is extremely easy, the case is absolutely perfectly designed so you can keep your camera on while carrying, and design is perfect. This is such a huge step up from my first generic slider I had previously. I would recommend this slider to anyone and everyone who is looking for BUTTERY smooth video footage!

Hands down smoothest sliderThis is the best slider I've ever used. It's small, light, and durable. You can feel the quality build. I recommend getting the flywheel for the ultimate smooth slide experience. I use this with my Sony FS5

Scalable, smooth and reliable!Bought this after reviewing and using several other sliders. One of the big factors was the flywheel which I've found makes a really big difference in getting nice, creeping slider moves without fits and starts. I've loaded this with my Sony FS7 on a fairly small Miller DS-20 tripod and gotten really nice results. The flexibility to then pop the slider off, spin the legs down and go on a tabletop or on the ground has proven quite useful as well! Another reason for purchasing this is the scalability. I plan to eventually upgrade to the motorized control unit as I've read it is quieter than some competitors products (which will help if using it while recording sound). Also, the ability to purchase and swap out longer steel rails was a deciding factor as I like to be able to invest in one product line and have it scale up or down as needed.

Built to last. This is by far the most solid slider I've ever used. There is nothing clunky or flimsy in the build. I think the best part about it is its minimalist design. It seems so simple that an industrious person might think they could just replicate it with basic hardware store parts! But how it is weighted and every aspect of its movement is so perfect, the purchase price is definitely worth it. I can't wait to upgrade to the motor and some of the other add-ons. I have no doubts this is a slider built to last a long time!

Incredibly Smooth, Professional SliderHaving used a number of sliders from different manufacturers I've learned how critical it is to have a slider that provides incredibly smooth motion. The Rhino Carbon with the flywheel is easily my favorite I've ever used. I also really dig that it has a built-in upgrade path if you want to add motion motors later on. It isn't the cheapest on the market, but the difference in cost is more than worth it. I can't recommend the Rhino, especially the bundle with the flywheel, enough.

By the far the best sliderI've owned quite a few sliders and they all seem to be good enough, but once you use this one you never want to own another slider.
