The Rhino Slider EVO Carbon is a highly versatile, belt-driven camera slider that can adapt to your shooting needs. The system includes lightweight carbon fiber rails that support loads up to 15 lb, which can be swapped for optional 42" rails when longer slides are required. Additionally, optional stainless steel rails are available for when you need to support heavier loads. The slider can also be upgraded to a motorized system with the addition of the separately available Rhino Motion, allowing you to capture smooth live motion and time-lapses with a single motor.

The Rhino Slider EVO features a 3/8"-16 screw on the camera carriage for attaching a ball head or flat-base fluid head. It can be center-mounted on a tripod via 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threaded holes in the center of the rails, or supported using two tripods or stands via 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threads at the ends of the tripod. You can also setup the slider for ground-level or table-top shooting using the included spring-loaded legs with index marks. The legs fold up for compact storage.

Slider EVO Carbon (24") is rated 4.6 out of 5 by 15.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from smooth and quite but way too short If you want your slide speed to remain even, the flywheel is an absolute necessity. The slider itself is very quiet and smooth but without some tension, its impossible to achieve an even slide no matter how steady your hand is. Believe me, I tried. I'm also upgrading to the 42' as the 24 is much too short to make any kind of impact for medium to wide tracking shots. At 24 its travel friends but add no sense of movement to your shots; just too short unless you shoot macro level. Its lightweight and the bag accessory allows me to leave a head attached to it. Brilliant! This is a great tool for live events and quick hassle free shooting.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Slider. With one caveat. Really great slider. Very light and super smooth but before you buy, be aware that for it to work up to its full capabilities, you need the flywheel which is sold separately. If you don't get the flywheel it's almost impossible to get a smooth shot unless you take the belt off, which is an option. But then you lose a little control. With the flywheel, it's a 5 star product for sure but it should be factored into the cost before you buy.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Spend the extra 50 bucks. It is nice and light. It is also easy to transport. Probably better for a smaller DSLR or point and shoot. With a heavier camera at lower speed it has a tendency to shudder a bit. I had it sitting on a marble counter top in my kitchen and at 2-3 on motion and it was obvious. Faster okay but who uses fast? I would spend the extra dollars on the pro unit. The 42 pro on the other hand on 2 tripods on carpeting is rock solid.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Really Good! Ive been operating cameras for over 20 years and I love it when I find good gear. This is a rock solid product with all of the right options. I take this slider on all of my shoots. I use it with a FS7 and sometimes a DSLR. great for both cameras. My only advise to the buyer is don't get the slider without the Flywheel.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very well designed I bought this primarily for video (along with the motion unit), but I also plan on using it for some time lapse. It is very well designed, and very well thought out with great attention to detail. I love the size of it, how easy it is to strap to the side of a backpack, and how fast it is to setup. Rather than buying the case from Rhino, which I'm sure will protect it nicely, I found that it fits very nicely in a (now discontinued) Tamrac tripod bag to keep the weight and bulk down. I'm 100% satisfied with my purchase and plan to use it for many years to come.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from First slider purchase This is our first slider purchase and after lots of research decided to go with Rhino. We've rented other sliders in the past but it was time to purchase. Surprising how light and compact this is while still feeling very well made. The all terrain feet are great and the track is very smooth. The only thing is that it is so smooth that we will need to practice doing manual slides to maintain constant speed without the use of the flywheel or motion controller. This will be a part of our everyday kit from now on.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Why Didn't I buy this Sooner!! Amazing!!! Amazing, simply Amazing!! I'm a Wedding Cinematographer coming from a 3 ft Konova slider and wow is this an upgrade. I opened the Evo and moved it for the first time and my eyes just opened in shock! I then opened and mounted the counter weight (bought seperatly ) and then I was floored!! If you are on the fence about this slider, please stop wasting time. I have no idea what you can complain about this thing is soooo smooth (extra O's needed). It is worth every single penny!. I can't wait to buy Motion and Arc in the coming months. Look no further guys It is simply amazing!! Allows you to nail the slide without having to focus on being steady . You can now focus on the actual shot and be creative! the peace of mind you get from not having to worry about the slide is in valuable especially in a rush rush type of setting as a wedding.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent For Travel Product was light yet durable and helped me overcome my fears of using a slider at an event when shooting without an assistant. Shots were perfect and with the Flywheel even more so. And the carry bag (while a little pricey) definitely makes it convenient for travel and protection. A++++
