Zacuto Z-GEC Reviews

Only needed a third of it

I only needed the eye-cup flap as I lost mine on a shoot. Unfortunate waste of rubber and money to have to buy the whole unit. I found this unusable to operate with the flap connected, so easy to lose. I replaced it purely to protect the glass. I would have gladly paid another $5 and have two flaps in the case.

Great

I make eyecups for my Sony cameras with these. Id been buying the previous version without the auto closing lid, and when this came out I tore off the cover and then read the instructions to find out that you swipe the eyecup over your temple to open the lid. Doh! Great idea and it works, AND you can reattach that lid easily.
