ARRI continues to broaden its LED line and reaffirm their commitment to accurate color rendering with the introduction of the blue/silver SkyPanel S30-C LED Softlight. Supported by a manual aluminum yoke, the panel's surface area measures 14 x 11.8", making it an ideal portable, on-the-go light source for mobile applications. Output is controlled via interchangeable thermoplastic diffusers that range from Standard to Lite to Heavy to soften the light and wrap its output around your subject and the SkyPanel S30-C outputs the equivalent of a 1000W tungsten soft light while drawing a maximum of only 240W.

What batteries are you using on the Arri sky panel s30? And what volt are your batteries?
According to the user manual included with the ARRI SkyPanel Battery Adapter Plate, you may use an Anton/Bauer or V-mount battery that has a voltage of 14.4V, with a minimum of 100 Wh. 210 W is nominal, while 240 W is the maximum recommended for usage with the ARRI Anton Bauer Battery Plate for Skypanel S30 and S60 LED Soft Lights, B&H # ARBPABSP, or the ARRI V-Mount Battery Plate for Skypanel S30 and S60 LED Soft Lights, B&H # ARBPVMSP. Always use two batteries of the same type, age, and state of charge.

Can someone please recommend a dmx control board to use these in a small studio? I want to be able to change the color to chroma green with out manually adjusting each one.

Has anyone done a flight with the light?
No, we always send ours (we have 2 30's in a hard case) with ground teams or ship them FedEx ground. Our case with both units is about 65lbs.

Which mount of this SkyPanel should I buy if I want to attach a center mount yoke? Is a center mount yoke the best way to have the SkyPanel stand vertical on the floor? What is the best mount to have the lamp stand vertical on the floor?
